Presenter Bio: Dr. Shalini Mathew is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in the Psychology & Counseling Department at Northern State University. Dr. Mathew is a Nationally Certified Counselor through NBCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor in the state of South Dakota. Dr. Mathew has a PHD in Counselor Education & Supervision and master’s degrees in School Counseling and Behavior Science. Dr. Mathew's research interests include AI in Education, Children with specific learning disabilities, complementary and alternative therapies in counseling, counselor wellness, trauma-informed care, counseling immigrants and refugees, and cross-cultural counseling Counseling in the Age of AI: Strategies for Effective Integration |
